The Red Card Gambling Support Project promotes AWARENESS and PREVENTION of problem gambling through education and is funded by the National Lottery and the Professional Footballers Association (PFA).
Red Card is a ‘not for profit’ organization dedicated to the prevention of gambling addiction. In addition, Red Card is a Gambling Commission-approved delivery partner and has been approved for CPD accreditation by the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) standards office.

We aim to make sure that people from all backgrounds and cultures are educated about the dangers of gambling addiction and the impact it can have on our lives. We work with all agencies, including schools, colleges, sports clubs, prison and probation services, and others, to help create a more stable and healthy society in the future. Our vision is to become a long-term beneficial and supportive service for all who experience problem gambling.
With a diverse team, we aim to reach individuals from disadvantaged and marginalised backgrounds, particularly within Black, Asian, and African communities. We recognise the scale of gambling within these groups and understand their increased vulnerability to gambling-related harms. Through targeted outreach and education, we strive to provide the necessary support and awareness to help mitigate these risks.
Red Card runs a variety of projects, recognising that gambling addiction affects all sectors. We are committed to reaching as many people as possible across different professions. With eight years of experience, we are always looking to expand our efforts. We remain committed to educating and raising awareness of gambling-related harms by collaborating with other organizations, as we strongly believe in the power of positive partnerships.
